BC Medical Service Plan (MSP)
The Medical Services Plan (MSP) is administered by the British Columbia Medical Insurance Bureau. It is a mandatory plan for all eligible residents of British Columbia. International students holding a valid student visa for six months or longer are eligible for MSP coverage, provided the student visa remains valid. However, there is a waiting period of approximately three months.
