The Permanent Residence Pathways for Hong Kong Residents project provides multiple immigration options for Hong Kong residents to obtain permanent residency in Canada. Open Work Permit for Hong Kong Residents:
Eligibility: Hong Kong residents who are graduates from a post-secondary learning institution within the last five years.
Validity: The open work permit is valid for up to three years.

Permanent Residence Pathways
Stream A: In-Canada Graduates
Eligibility: Hong Kong residents who have graduated from a post-secondary institution in Canada within the last three years.

Additional Criteria: Must have a valid temporary resident status in Canada.
Stream B: Canadian Work Experience

Language Proficiency: Must meet the minimum language proficiency requirements (Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 5).
