Visitor Visa
A visitor visa is a document that allows a person to enter a foreign country for tourism, business, or family visits.
Required Documents:
1. Application Forms
IMM 5257: Application for a Temporary Resident Visa.
IMM 5707: Family Information Form.
2. Passport and Travel Documents
Valid Passport: Must be valid for the duration of your stay. Include copies of the biographical page and any pages with stamps, visas, or markings.
Previous Passports: Copies of previous passports, if applicable.
3. Photographs
Passport-sized Photos: Two recent photos ( 35MM×45MM )
4. Proof of Financial Support
Bank Statements: Recent bank statements for the past 4-6 months.
Employment Letter: Letter from your employer stating your job position, salary, and length of employment.
Pay Stubs: Recent pay stubs.
Income Tax Returns: Copies of your income tax returns.
5. Purpose of Visit
Invitation Letter: If visiting family or friends, an invitation letter from your host in Canada.
Tourism Plan: Details of your planned tourist activities.
6. Ties to Home Country
Proof of Employment: Employment contract or letter from your employer.
Property Ownership: Documents proving ownership of property or land.
Family Ties: Documents showing family relationships in your home country.
7. Additional Documents
Police Clearance Certificate
Medical Exam
Previous Visas: Copies of visas for countries you have previously visited.
Educational Transcripts: If you are a student, copies of your educational transcripts.
